Lilith, The First Resister: A Model For Transformation & Liberation
with Kohenet D’vorah Grenn, Ph.D
Mondays 12pm Pacific: Jan. 22, 29 and February 5, and 12, 2024
How and why has Lilith, the first woman before Eve in Jewish and other mythologies, been demonized across the millennia? Are women still ostracized or punished for embodying Her qualities today? Join us for a presentation, experiential study and interactive discussion of this powerful figure, who moved from one only maligned in Talmudic and later Jewish texts to one re-visioned in the 1970s as a positive role model, a woman taking control of her own life. As we continue redefining for ourselves what love, self-sovereignty, sexuality and respect can look like, She can provide the inspiration and courage needed to keep changing our patriarchal culture.

ENCOUNTERING THE TREE OF LIFE
Held Annually on Zoom
Watch for our next class coming this Fall!
The Kabbalistic Tree of Life can be interpreted as both the map of how Creation came into being, and the Divine image in which all of Creation and Humankind are formed. This four-week course introduces the Tree of Life as a blueprint for living, as interpreted through a female Kabbalist tradition.
