Maryrita Wieners,\u00a0<\/strong>MA, LPC is an interspiritual priestess, Certified Imago Therapist and Pastoral Psychotherapist. She interweaves Catholicism–including 20 years as a Sister of St. Joseph–and training as an Ignatian Spiritual Director, with Reconstructionist and Renewal Judaism, including certification as Mashpi\u2019ah Ruchanit, Spiritual Director\/Companion. \u00a0She has an MA in Religious Studies from St. Charles Seminary, Philadelphia, PA.\u00a0\u00a0She has been studying the Sacred Feminine with Yoreshet Ruach D’vorah Grenn for the past three years. Maryrita is also doing deep diving into Celtic Spirituality, especially Brigid, and discovering women spiritual leaders and circles, with a focus on Miryam of Magdala\/Migdala, Gospel writer, teacher and healer. The reframing of who or what a prophet is, going beyond the biblical context, is not an easy task. Nadya Gross (Yerusha<\/a><\/span>) gives us a framework that includes \u201cthe act of speaking truth to power, the alchemy that happens when we bring something up out of our belly\u2026call on our intuition or Divine guidance\u2026\u201d Do we dare to call our own ideas \u201cprophetic\u201d? Through discussion and short drummed meditations, we\u2019ll explore how trusting and developing our intuition supports our personal growth and the confidence which can lead us to occasionally recognize our own words and actions as prophetic.<\/p>\n
