WOMAN SHAMAN - Part One

A slide talk on female spiritual leadership as drummers, dreamers, healers, and medicine women. An international overview, and a look at African and Asian priestesses.  

WOMAN SHAMAN - Part Two

Focuses on holy women with priestesses from Asia, the Americas, and Europe, and on the repression of female spiritual leadership in patriarchal and colonial societies.   

OLD WOMEN'S POWER

New international slideshow on clan elders, holy women, herbalists,
mavericks, and movers and shakers.   Includes a look at how old women became primary targets in the witch hunts. 

THE KEMETIC GODDESS

Deasophy and iconography in ancient Egypt and Sudan, from predynastic times up to the Roman empire. Neit, Hathor, Maat, Auset (Isis), Ta-Uert, Sekhmet, Uadjet, and the goddesses of Nubia.

Suppressed Histories: NEPAL/TIBET/MONGOLIA

Max Dashu presents a slide talk on Nepalese temple art, kumari oracles,
Bönpo shamanism and Tibetan Buddhism, with emphasis on female iconography in thangkas and sculpture.
